Congrats Hilts

We attended the Taste of Omaha, which is an annual event where vendors, entertainers and restaurants go to a park. Opening night was packed - tons of people, lots of different food and drinks, and a few bands. The closest one to where we laid our blanket was the U2 tribute band which was pretty good, despite being across the pond on a pedestal-like stage. They even remarked that it'd be nice to see our faces and it was a little odd. It created a really laid back atmosphere though, and most folks just brought lawn chairs or a blanket. At the end of the night, they had fireworks to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Boys Town.

Hilt and Angie got married the next day, and we just couldn't get a good picture - the lighting was not cooperating with our little Canon. So we resorted to pictures of us instead, surprise surprise. hehe. Lydia kicked off the party before the wedding on the horse and under the hat. It was a beautiful Catholic wedding with Hilt's dad marrying the happy couple. The reception was at a great downtown brick hall where everyone ate, danced and drank til close.
Thankfully we had a (very) late night anyway, and we were over at the Schuman's for the tornado when it hit at 2:30AM. No basements in a 5th wheel, you know... Again, we survived. Gotta get outta here before we run out of luck in our little trailer in tornado county.
Congratulations to the happy couple! That baby is adorable!
